ABOUT GOMMES
Gommes Shoes has always been the quintessential WA family run business. The original Gomme’s Shoes store was opened by Eric Gomme in the main street of Manjimup in June 1938. Expanding from Manjimup, the business opened stores across the South West and Perth Metropolitan area.
After Eric Gomme passed away in 1952, his son Laurie Gomme took over the business with his wife Grace and managed the Manjimup store before moving into a managerial role across then all six stores.
After a few business transitions, the business underwent new ownership in 2004 by Les and Lesley Holmes. There are now five Gommes Shoes stores operating in Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Midland and Willetton.
As always, Gommes Shoes continues to take pride in providing a high quality shoe fitting service and providing quality shoes for the entire family.
